Hi! My name is Lori McGuire and I have been with JaKay's since the doors opened in 1996. Jacque, the founder of JaKay's entrusted me for several years to take care of her baby (JaKay's). She has taught me patience, responsibility, and accounting, along with a Lori lot of other things in a time when her life was going in a different direction. As a result, she felt that I would be the perfect candidate to resume ownership. I am grateful for that.

We have a staff that is unbeatable. Not only do they have talent, but they love what they do and it shows! Their dedication and loyalty make me so proud to be a part of JaKays. If there is one thing that I have learned it is TEAMWORK and I thank my lucky stars everyday for all of them.

A little about myself - I have been married for over 20 years to the love of my life, Mike, and have 2 beautiful children. Devon and Michael (Bubba). I have been a hairstylist since 1983 and I love what I do.

I hope that you will come in and visit us and get to know our staff. I know you will love them as much as I do. Thank You!

Tara Hi, my name is Tara. I have been working at JaKay's since 1997 as a cosmetologist, electrologist and estitian. Therefore, you will see me beautifying my clients downstairs and running upstairs to clense and nourish your hairless body. I will cure one's mental and self image.

When I am not here at work, I spend my time with family and friends. I have 2 wonderful children and a great husband! Oh! and my adorable doggy Lucky Charms.

CarolHi, my name is Carol. I've been doing hair for 20+ years now and have been working here at JaKay's since 1997. My, how fast time does fly! It's hard to believe that after so many years of doing hair, that I still love what I do. Although I've said, many times, that I was going to retire, I'm glad to still be here.

We've watched many changes in our lives over the years, with I hope, many more to come!

SharonHi! I'm Sharon Rupert and I'm happy to serve you here at Jakay's Salon. I've lived in Plum most of my life. I'm a married mom of three and I love doing hair. I've been a licensed hairdresser since 1986 and I work with the best group of women I've ever met!

I'm a country girl and I love the outdoors.

I work Wednesdays, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 - 8 p.m.
