Hello! My name is Crystal! I'm a Licensed Cosmetologist at Jakay's. I am so happy to be here, it's a dream come true. I don't like to call it work because I absolutely LOVE what I do. The work is over now, I made it. The staff is amazing, and I've already made wonderful friends. I have been doing hair believe it or not, since I was a little kid. Cutting and braiding all my dolls hair. Needless to say I've learned a lot over the years! I practiced on the kids in my neighborhood and realized that doing hair was one of my creative outlets. I have always had a very artistic streak, and love to challenge myself. Always pushing to know more, to learn more. So I decided in high school to attend Forbes Trail for Cosmetology for two years. Then focused on getting my diploma my senior year. After graduating school I attended Bella Capelli a Paul Mitchell Partner School to complete my hours for my license.

I also love music! I am a singer/songwriter. I belong to an indie, hip-hop, rock band with some very talented friends of mine. I love art of all kinds, including tattoos. I am a big collector. I love animals, Cats mostly. It's my dream to one day own a horse ranch and farm. I'm a free spirit and certainly not afraid to march to the beat of my own drum.
